Privacy policy
This English text is a translation for your convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.
Protecting your data matters to me. This page explains which data I process when you use this website or book an appointment, why, and for how long. In short: I only process what I need for booking, cleaning and invoicing. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, no tracking and no social media plugins (only an anonymous visitor count, see section 2); fonts are served from my own server.

House of Reinigung
Inhaber: Bilel Kacem

Email: contact@houseofreinigung.de
2. Hosting and technically necessary data
The website, booking server and database run on Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the pages, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in a secure, working service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place. Processing in the USA is possible; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and EU standard contractual clauses also apply.
Anonymous visitor count: to see which pages are read and where the booking form is abandoned, my server counts, without cookies and without IP addresses: the page viewed, the kind of origin (e.g. "search engine", "social network", "direct"), screen size (phone or computer), language and the steps reached in the booking form. Only daily totals are stored; they cannot be linked to you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (improving the website).
3. Storage in your browser
So that your selection in the booking form is not lost, the page stores your postcode and selection in your browser’s local storage. This data only leaves your device when you submit the booking and is deleted afterwards. This is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can clear it in your browser at any time.
4. Online booking and appointment
When you book, I process: first and last name, address, email, phone number, your selection (furniture, method, extras, price), the appointment and optional details (floor, building, lift, pets, comment, photos, how you heard about me). I use them to plan the appointment, prepare, carry out the cleaning, keep you informed and invoice. Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Required fields are marked.
Photos you upload are resized automatically, stored without location data and deleted 90 days after the appointment.
5. Address suggestions
When you type your street, the form suggests matching addresses. My server sends the text you entered to the Photon service of komoot GmbH, Friedrich-Wilhelm-Boelcke-Straße 2, 14473 Potsdam, Germany (OpenStreetMap data). Your IP address is not passed to komoot, only the text. To plan my bike route, I also convert the addresses of confirmed appointments into coordinates there (cached for at most 30 days). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
6. Calendar
I enter confirmed appointments with name, address, phone number and booked services into my Google Calendar to plan my route. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Transfer to the USA is possible; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
7. Emails
I send confirmations, reminders, invoices and replies via Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 55 rue d’Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France) under a data processing agreement. I keep the content of emails for 90 days so I can resend them; after that only recipient, subject, date and status remain. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
8. Contact form, quote requests and quotes
When you write to me or request a quote, I process your details (name, email, phone, address, description, photos) to reply and prepare a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, for general questions (f)). If you accept a quote online, I store the name you entered, date, time and IP address as proof of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
9. Withdrawal via the website
If you withdraw via Withdraw from contract, I process your name, contract details, email address and the date and time of receipt to handle the withdrawal, confirm receipt and keep proof of it (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with § 356a BGB). I keep this data until the statutory limitation periods expire.
10. Abuse prevention
When forms are submitted, I store your IP address for 24 hours to limit mass submissions (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is then deleted automatically.
11. Offers, reminders and review requests by email
Only if you expressly agree when booking will I send you offers and cleaning reminders and ask for a review after the appointment. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by email to contact@houseofreinigung.de.
12. Payment
If you pay with PayPal, PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg, processes your payment data under its own responsibility. For bank transfers, the banks involved receive the payment data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
13. Retention
I delete data as soon as it is no longer needed. Invoices and accounting records must be kept for 8 years under German tax law (§ 147 AO), business correspondence for 6 years. For follow-up questions about a job, I usually keep customer data until warranty and limitation periods expire.
14. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)). Just email contact@houseofreinigung.de.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.
There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
